This well cap has a purpose made hole in the cap.
This defeats the whole purpose of having a cap, this hole also is the perfect size of hole for a mouse to crawl in, sometimes they enter to climb down for a drink of water and sometimes they think the top of the casing is a fine place to have a nest, especially when someone makes them a hole. Would you drink water from this well?
